Only 1,949 LT1 corvettes were produced in 1971. The car was purchased in October of 2001 in Edmonton, Alberta by the 3rd owner who is a Montana resident.  We have the past owners history from its original purchase on Jan. 21, 1971.  The salesman at the dealership kept track of the car through the years, and purchased it for himself 12 years later when it came up for sale.  After owning it for the next 18 years he decided to move it along. The 3rd owner had it for 15 years, and putting a total of only 500 miles on it in all that time. Incredible documentation for the car, includes a report from GM Vintage Vehicle Services Canada, documenting what the car is. An odometer statement from the 2nd owner. Original protect-o-plate and warranty guide. Pictures of the original tank sticker.  We were unable to remove the tank sticker from the original gas tank without damaging it, so we left it on the tank and covered it with protective plastic for preservation.
