1967 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible restomod,
VIN # 7E57C133297 Odometer reads 2,763 miles.
Professional four year build completed in 2013. The odometer was zeroed when restored
and currently has 2,763 miles since completed restoration. There is over $85000 spent on
this car. I do have receipts.
The power plant is a 347 Stoker motor that was sent to Pro Performance Unlimited where
it received a complete rebuilt, 10.9-1 compression, Keith black flat top pistons, eagle
forged crank, dart cylinder heads, 240 Duration comp cam, dyno made 460 HP. A 4l60e
Electronic Trans was added with a ford 9 inch fitted with US-93F custom gear set and
Detroit tru trac Posi, 2000 RPM stall converter and compushift e controller, custom drive
shaft, Serpentine belt system and accessories by Jones racing components, 4 Wheel
Willwood brake system with electronic power brake pump. Larger sway bars and rear
end supports installed along with upgraded bushings throughout. Ceramic dual exhaust
with flow masters car has a great sound with a nice cam lope too it, Custom headers,
MSD, 4 barrel high performance carb.
The exterior of this rust free example is finished in dark blue metallic two stage, laser
straight body with excellent panel gaps, complete new weather stripping, excellent new
glass throughout, all stainless and chrome has been either replaced or re-chromed, a
new white power convertible top works effortlessly. The car sits on chrome 17 inch
Americans and new radial tires. Under carriage is very tidy, everything is new.
Interior is finished in period correct silver blue interior. The car has bucket seats and a
center console with drink holders, an upgraded sound system with IPod capabilities and
XM radio, upgraded speakers, two amplifiers and two subwoofers with a separate bass
control knob. Seat belts have been added, the dash, door panels, carpet as well as the
complete interior is excellent, the car has been dyna matted as well, a polished tilt
steering column is mated to a vintage ford wood steering wheel, and the trunk is also
finished in the same quality and style of the interior of the car. A lokar shifter has been
added, and Oil pressure, temp and water temp, the aluminum radiator and spall electric
fan does not let the car get over 180 degrees.
This car runs killer. I have a custom car cover for the car as well.
