Only 372 Corvettes have received this prestigious award. Clean CarFax. Current California smog certificate. When purchased by the current owner the odometer reading was 8,745 miles. Since purchase brakes were rebuilt and new tires were installed. Original tires are included with the sale. Optioned with power door locks, rear window defogger, sports mirrors, aluminum wheels, cruise control, white letter tires, AM/ FM radio stereo. Matching numbers 350/ 190 hp engine. Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Under the hood is all is very original and scored 1104 out of a possible 1120 NCRS points, most of which was for plating wear/ or minor corrosion. Parts were judged as original. Including engine. Engine compartment is very original and looks great. Runs and drives great. Just driven 100 miles from Orange County to San Diego in traffic. Scored 760 out of a possible 760 NCRS points on operations, so everything was working. Paint code 79, Maroon Metallic. Scoring 1161 out of a possible 1179 NCRS points. A few chips were note on the front bumper, t/tops had some minor marks, License plate screws, minor road chips on rocker moldings. Original paint and in great condition. Chassis scored 636 out of 646 NCRS points, most of which were minor plating wear. Under carriage is also in great shape and very original. Trim code 642, Camel leather. Interior scored 778 out of a possible 805 NCRS points. Very original interior and in great shape. Biggest deduction was the replacement Delco battery, 15 points. Other deducts were very minor. This is a great example of an National NCRS Top Flight car and a stated above only 1 of 372 Corvettes to receive the Bowtie award. Priced we below what was paid for the vehicle just under 2 years ago. Sold
